InfoComm 2018, An epic hockey season and other fun stuff we did this month...

As much as I'd like to start this newsletter off with some super exciting news I feel it is most appropriate to take a moment to show some love for our Golden Knights! Although we didn't take the Stanley Cup we made some of the best memories this inaugural season and couldn’t be more proud of our first professional team. The NHL Awards aired on June 20th and our Golden Knights stole the show with 4 winners. William Karlsson received the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for gentlemanly conduct, Deryk Engelland received the Mark Messier Leadership Award for his leadership and contributions to society, Gerard Gallant received the Jack Adams Award for NHL Coach and last but not least George McPhee received the award for General Manager of the Year! Can you say Go Knights Go? October 4th’s opening night can’t come soon enough for us, make sure to mark your calendars!

Now that we've given our Knights some love, let's talk InfoComm 2018. Fernando and Meagan made a day out of it and walked around talking to old friends and meeting some new ones along the way. If you aren't familiar with InfoComm it's pretty similar to NAB except it's smaller and geared more towards a corporate audience. We had a great time catching up with the guys from Professional Wireless and made plans for getting together next month when Fern makes his way out to Florida!

The rest of the month was filled with some exciting shoots for us from commercials to comedy shows. Fernando headed out to New Mexico were he mixed horse racing for the first time at the Downs Race Track in Ruidoso. We love the part of our job where we can go from mixing and recording voices, to punches, to rockets launches, to horse racing and whatever else gets thrown our way. We are very lucky to have all these opportunities to try new things and excel in a field that we love.

We hope everyone is enjoying summer and we look forward to catching up with you again next month!
